Famyuni Why this project?

A project in development, for family carers

Help a loved one.
Bring the family together.

Famyuni is a completely free app that brings families together around a loved one who needs help. The beta version of the app has launched.

A family gathering in a summer garden, from children to grandparents, sharing a moment together.

Make caring visible and give it recognition

Share the organising and find someone to take over

Share decisions and have a say

Get updates and better understand the situation

Access information

Know how to help

A space for the family.
The project takes shape.

Group life

Updates that reach the whole group.

Share a message or photos from a visit. Find useful information in shared notes. Stay connected, even from a distance.

A simple, intuitive space for the whole family.

Contributions

Help given. Or someone needed to step in.

Make what has been done visible, plan future help or suggest a contribution to the group. Everyone can see where their involvement would be useful.

A contribution recognises the help provided and keeps the whole family informed about the loved one’s situation.

Decisions

Room for everyone’s opinion.

Put a question to the family and gather responses. Voting provides a shared framework for decisions, even when direct conversations are difficult.

Share your opinion or make decisions together.

Balance

A guide to better understanding.

Balance is a simple guide to understanding your place in how help is shared.

Perfect balance does not exist. What matters is finding together how everyone can help.

Balance tailored to each family.

Balance adapts to each family’s circumstances and what each person can do.

Adapt the capacity to contribute

Personal, work-related or private circumstances can limit someone’s ability to help. The group can unanimously acknowledge this and adapt that member’s capacity to contribute. Balance then adjusts to their situation.

Suggest contributions to the group

Suggesting a task gives relatives who hesitate to take the initiative a clear idea of what to do. A simple way to find their place and step in.

Support those who help

When you cannot help your loved one directly, you can support the members who are most involved. This is indirect help, but it also counts towards balance.

Shall we talk about it?

Are you a family carer, a professional or part of an organisation working with carers? Let’s discuss your needs, arrange a presentation or talk about the first trials of Famyuni.
